Where it started
My journey started the way it did for many of us: sitting under the covers with a Game Boy, a worm light, and a copy of Pokémon Red. I still have that original cartridge today. For me, the original 151 is not just a set of cards. It is my childhood.
My story starts on the vending side, PokeVIP began with a simple goal: give people a safe place to spend their allowance money on packs without worrying about fakes or resealed boxes. Vending was not as fun as I hoped, so I stepped away from chasing margins and returned to the reason I loved Pokémon in the first place: the joy of the hunt.
My personal collection is a curated home for Pikachu, Charizard, the Eeveelutions, and my Base Set Unlimited master set. If a card catches my eye, it stays. If I already have it or it does not fit the collection, I pass it forward.

Community over everything
Gatekeeping has no place here. It does not matter if an eight-dollar pack produces forty-two cents in card value. If one card finds a home in a deck or binder, it is a win.
